Brynlee Painting @ School

Coconut Shmoconut!!!!!!! Wow, I tell ya. You try to do something you have never done all in the name of learning. That was two really hard days of trying to get into that darn coconut! Our cook had gone to Hawaii and sent it back to me. It was much harder than I thought it would be. All those people on survivor never made it look that hard with their machetes. But I didn't have one of those. Just a hammer and a screwdriver and lots of little hands to help. The kids did like it though and thought it was really cool. The milk was gross, but the coconut was really yummy. I had a few kids who just sat there wanting more and more. So in the end I guess it was worth it, but I can't say I ever want to do it again!!! For some reason it will not put my pictures with it, so I will post them later because I have tried 5 times and I am getting sick of it not posting!!

So, I am very excited. With the help of my mother-in-law, I finally fixed some of my problems with my blog. I think the key is that she has faster internet than I do.
We had a lot of fun hanging out with them today. Brynlee loves to visit and play at Grandma and Grandpa's house. She really had fun having Daddy pull her on the sled. Hopefully I can get even more fun things on here soon. :D

Yeah, It finally worked!!! Of course it is only one picture, but it is a start! Who knows why it takes so long to download a single picture, and I still don't know what happened to the other photos I downloaded. But when I have more time I will try to make this much more interesting. ;D

Brynlee and I at Boo at the Zoo. We had fun with Grandma Summers. Brynlee had never been to the Zoo before, so she had a blast crawling at everything and signing Candy to everyone who was giving out treats.

I am getting a little frustrated that I cannot figure out technology. How far out of the times am I? I am trying to put pictures on and make a cute blog, but not having too much hope. It keeps saying it failed. I must need a five year old to do all this for me! I will try again, but I guess we will just have to see.

So, I also just discovered facebook, and it is kind of addicting. I am finding so many old friends I lost contact with. So I totally understand what Keriann was saying on her blog. I miss the good old days when I could pull an all nighter, then go to school, then hang out with friends and still not feel tired. Now, if I don't go to bed by 10:30p.m. , I can't function the next day. I guess I am just feeling my age. I'm only 31!!!!! What is my problem? :)

Yeah, I just tried again. It says something is wrong, it cannot put my pictures in. This is so frustrating!

speaking in church

Today Ryan and I had to speak in church. It make the whole week crummy!! With the thoughts of what a scarry event was approching. Yet, now that it is over I feel really good. It went well for both of us. Ryan got a little jumpled because he had to condence his, but all in all it went good. Both our parents were there. Ryan had told his parents the wrong time, so they missed me, but that was okay. My Mother said I made everyone cry with the story of Brynlee.


Speaking of Brynlee, she made me take some cute pictures of her with her sunglasses on. They turned out really cute. If I can figure this all out, they will get posted on here.
