On the 3rd of July we went hiking with Ryan's family. It was a lot of fun. the little girls kept going because they were like Dora the explorer! They always had an eye out for swiper the sneaky fox, but we never did see him. ;o) Brynlee & her cousin Peighton look a lot alike, so I love this cute picture of them together.
Brynlee's hair has really been bothering me lately with how scraggly it looked, so we went and got all the yucky stuff cut off so now her hair looks better. She thinks she is pretty cute too. :)
Ryan doesn't really like getting his picture taken, but sometimes he is a good sport and we actually get one of us together! It is summer, so that is why you get to see me looking so pasty white next to my super tan husband! He is such a cutie! :)
We had a lot of fun watching the fireworks with family over the 4th. Here are 4 of the 5 grandgirls on the Summers side. They were having a lot of fun playing together.
Most people from college said they never say one of us with out the other! We even got nicknamed Molly and Harnie from one of our friends. I think it was really great growing up with such a close friend. I'm lucky enough to have Ryan as my other best friend now, but their will always be a really close bond between Marnie and I. Thanks for visiting Marnie!!!
Marnie came out to visit over the 4th of July. I got to see her Thursday and Friday on the 7th and 8th!!! It was so good to see her. She moved to Dallas the end of November and I have really been missing my Best Friend! We have grown up together! I never had a sister, but I would claim her as my sister any day!! We have always had each other, so it has really been hard not having her here. She even missed Presley being born. Marn was very excited to finally meet Presley. We had so much fun just catching up. We also went shopping and and good old girl time together. I really hope we can all go visit her sometime soon!
After Presley impressed me with her sitting skills, she got up on her knees and starting rocking. Next she is going to try and crawl!!! Wow. Big girl. :)
I had Presley sitting up between my legs when I realized that she wasn't using me for support. I moved and here she sat for a couple minutes before toppling over! What a big girl! She is five months. Bryn did not sit up till she was over 6 months. I was not expecting this. Don't grow up too fast Presley!
Ryan and I met at the very end of 2000. We both new right away that we were meant for each other. Ryan doesn't mind taking things slow, so I didn't convince him to get married till Dec of 2002! We had dated nearly two whole years. We didn't try for children that first year, and after almost a whole year of trying, I woke up one morning in extreme pain. That's when we discovered I had endometriosis. I had to have a few surgery's and still no luck! I work with children and so badly wanted to have some of our own. We decided in virto was our best option. We made the appointments and were just about to go, when a miracle happened. We discovered that I was actually pregnant! I was so scarred something might happen, but we got a beautiful perfect baby girl in the summer of 2007 that we named Brynlee. She is so much fun and we are blessed everyday with her. We are still trying to get her some siblings and may have to actually go through with in vitro in the future, but Family is what life is all about. Ryan grew up on a Farm in Rexburg, so we spent the first 5 years of marriage in the family farm house that was over 100 years old, it had character. Ryan has since changed over to working at Valley Wide as a Fertilizer Applicator, so I got my wish to move back to Idaho Falls. I work at a Koala Kids Academy as a Preschool Teacher and as Supervisor. I can tell you I do actually miss our quiet country farm house, but would never trade back our new house that doesn't have any problems with it.
