Every year my class and the Kindergarten children do a Christmas program for their parents at Melaleuca. This year was very special because my little Brynlee is now in my class. It was so much fun to have her perform with my class. She loves to sing and we are always singing everywhere we go. Ryan and his parents came to watch. I'm glad Ryan filmed it so I could watch Brynlee later because I had to lead both classes so I didn't get to just watch her. She did a great job. I love that I get to be my daughter's teacher this year. I'm also glad that she will get to have others as well, because she does try to get away with things. ;-) I can hardly believe she is already 4 1/2! Time is flying by. She looks so big in these pictures.
Brynlee got another new dance teacher this year. I was really impressed, last years girl was not on the ball. Bryn had fun both times though. She is getting so big and it is so fun to see all that she has learned. She is such a social butterfly. She isn't shy at all for this kind of stuff. I hope she keeps that quality. So many of us worry what others think and are afraid to show what they can do. I hope she continues to be herself. I think she is perfect. :)
Presley didn't really know what to think of all of this, but she did like her new toy. Brynlee was in heaven. I have two very spoiled girls. I'm sure I'm not the only one who went a little crazy for Christmas. Brynlee was very excited to get her "laptop" a cheep princess version and "real phone" vtech had a cell phone that has lots of little buttons and does all kinds of things that makes her think it is real. Love that they were both inexpensive so I could get them lots of clothes too. :)
I can hardly believe that my little girl is already 11 months old! She is growing so fast and just wants to be big like her sister. She walks so good everywhere and will most likely be running by the time she reaches one year! She has been such a huge blessing to our family and we had so much fun watching her enjoy time with cousins this weekend and her first Christmas!
This was the date of Presley's first real adventure in walking. It is to bad I do not know how to share the video on my blog. I did however put it on my facebook if you are my friend you can go on my wall and see it. She is 9 months and two weeks and walking!!!
We all dressed up this year. Ryan usually does not participate, so he surprised me this year. It is amazing what Daddies do for their little girls! ;-) Ryan was a blind Referee, I was Sue from Glee, Bryn was Rapunzel and Presley was just cute in a Halloween outfit because it was too cold for her to wear her real costume. We had a blast as usual.
Halloween is so much fun! I love the clothes, decorating pumpkins and roasting seeds. Unfortunately, Bryn did not like helping for very long. It was still fun. ;o)
Look at this cutie!! Can you believe that EIGHT months have flown by? I can't. It is going by so fast. She is a mover, she didn't like me attempting to take her picture in this cute basket. I did get her distracted long enough to get a couple smiles. She has the best laugh. My favorite smile is when she also has a little of her tongue sticking out. We are so very lucky that InVitro worked for us and that we got this little miracle baby out of it. I don't even want to imagine how different our life would be with out her. Brynlee is such a wonderful big sister and can always get a good belly laugh out of Presley. Presley is an expert crawler and has attempted to walk a few times with no luck, but I wouldn't be surprized if she masters it within the next month. She wants to be where ever we are and also loves to crawl to Brynlee's room to play. I can't wait to hear her say mommy or daddy.
We got to celebrate Ryan's birthday twice. He of course doesn't care about that kind of thing, but Brynlee was ecstatic. She asked me if on her Birthday she can have two cakes and have two days to party. She is a quick learner. :)
We went to the fair with cousins to enjoy wristband day. They were in heaven. It was so much fun just to watch them enjoy all the rides. My little girl is a dare devil too. She was not afraid of any of them. She even enjoyed the little roller coaster.
Presley is not content to be still! She wants to be up and moving. She crawls everywhere and pulls herself all the time. It is hard to believe this is my little seven month old.
On another note, Presley has been a very vocal screamer at night when she wakes up. I'm a light sleeper, so it is very hard for me to let her cry it out. Well over labor day weekend I tackled this challenge. It was hard, but well worth it! The first night was pure torcher for me. She screamed most the night off and on. Then next night was better. Finally by Wed. she slept through the night!!! Yay! I am so excited. Bryn was a breeze, so it was very hard on me with Presley, but the task is done. My little girl is now trained to put herself back to sleep.
At my work we always have a Carnival day in the summer for all the kids. One of my co-workers made all the teachers tye dyed shirts. She also made my girls one, so we matched that day. As always it was a very fun day.
So what do you all think. Private blogs vs. Public blogs. I may want to switch my blog to private after noticing someone from Milan checking out only pictures of my daughter in pictures of her swimsuit. Tell me what you all think and who all is even looking at my blog besides my mother in law and cousins?
Brynlee was in 2 sessions of swim lessons this summer and she really had a lot of fun. She was in both session with her friend and they were so excited that they had matching swimsuits.
Ryan had the idea to have all the Bryan's go camping as a Family Reunion. It was a lot of fun. The Cousins had a lot of fun playing together and of course all us Adults had fun talking. I love this picture of Kendal with his pillow case. He drew him fishing with uncle Ryan and the fish they caught. It was fun family bonding.
Presley has been a quick one with wanting to move. At four months she rolled over and was digging her toes into the carpet to propell herself across the room. Then around five months she got up on her knees and starting rocking and sitting up unaided. Now at six months, my little girl is sitting up all by herself and crawling all over! She follows us all over the place. I'm afraid she is going to be walking way to fast!! Because she is already pulling herself up to things to stand. I want her to stay little and enjoy every minute of her being a baby, but it is so fun to see her excelling.
Presley is now old enough to eat food, so we tried her out and she loved it! She doesn't like to you to take a break either. No stopping till she is done! She is growing up so fast!
Our first time camping as a Family. Bryn and Presley have never been, so it was so much fun for both of them. Mom had a hard time sleeping, but it is so much fun to give our little girls this experience. Of course Presley will not remember it so we will have to go again. :)
We went to Green Canyon with the Bryan's for a fun camping trip. Presley wasn't enjoying it at first, but then she decided this really wasn't so bad and decided to suck her toes and fingers. She was so cute kicking her legs in the water too. It was a fun trip.
Ryan and I met at the very end of 2000. We both new right away that we were meant for each other. Ryan doesn't mind taking things slow, so I didn't convince him to get married till Dec of 2002! We had dated nearly two whole years. We didn't try for children that first year, and after almost a whole year of trying, I woke up one morning in extreme pain. That's when we discovered I had endometriosis. I had to have a few surgery's and still no luck! I work with children and so badly wanted to have some of our own. We decided in virto was our best option. We made the appointments and were just about to go, when a miracle happened. We discovered that I was actually pregnant! I was so scarred something might happen, but we got a beautiful perfect baby girl in the summer of 2007 that we named Brynlee. She is so much fun and we are blessed everyday with her. We are still trying to get her some siblings and may have to actually go through with in vitro in the future, but Family is what life is all about. Ryan grew up on a Farm in Rexburg, so we spent the first 5 years of marriage in the family farm house that was over 100 years old, it had character. Ryan has since changed over to working at Valley Wide as a Fertilizer Applicator, so I got my wish to move back to Idaho Falls. I work at a Koala Kids Academy as a Preschool Teacher and as Supervisor. I can tell you I do actually miss our quiet country farm house, but would never trade back our new house that doesn't have any problems with it.
